Toward a Comprehensive Solution

A January 23rd article in U.S. News and World Report“US eyes difficulties in next round of Iran talks,” cites a report released on January 15th by the non-profit Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), a Corporation grantee. An earlier Wall Street Journal piece quotes the same report, authored by physicist David Albright, a former U.N. weapons inspector and the founder and president of ISIS. According to Albright, Iran must remove some 15,000 of its estimated 20,000 centrifuges, shut down an underground uranium enrichment site, and significantly downgrade its heavy water reactor to make a final agreement palatable for the United States. Read the report.
