The Department of Information Science at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, announced the launch of a Masters program in Information Technology for university librarians in Sub-Saharan Africa working. The new two-year program, which will distance education as well as on-site, face-to-face lectures, is supported by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York.
