WHAT ARE THE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR GRANTS?

As of October 26, 2015 please submit all Carnegie Corporation of New York’s reporting requirements within our grants portal. CAN MY ORGANIZATION APPLY THROUGH A FISCAL SPONSOR?

Organizations can apply through a fiscal sponsor when necessary. The sponsor must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has a formal relationship with the organization working on the project. Please note that the fiscal sponsor is considered the grantee and is responsible for the proper expenditure of the funds and all reporting requirements.

WHAT IS YOUR INDIRECT COST RATE?

The Corporation’s policy for indirect costs allows for an allocation of up to 15 percent of direct project costs. This allocation should be reflected as a separate line item as indicated in the Budget Template.
