Manager, Human Resources
Michelle Napoli is a human resource generalist responsible for all human resource functions at Carnegie Corporation of New York; including recruiting and onboarding of new staff, staff training and development, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, staff wellness programs, human resource information systems (HRIS) administration, and compliance with employment laws as well as internal policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Carnegie Corporation, Ms. Napoli was the Human Resources/Office Manager for American Economic Planning Group, Inc., an investment and financial services firm. In this role, she was responsible for all human resource functions as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the office facilities, and supervising the administrative staff. Previously, Ms. Napoli worked as an Office Administrator/Human Resources Assistant at an employment law firm.
Ms. Napoli earned a master’s degree in human behavior and organizational psychology, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kean University. She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute, and the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM SCP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management.
Ms. Napoli is a member of The Society for Human Resource Management Professionals Central New Jersey Chapter, she serves as a co-chair for Philanthropy New York’s Foundation Administrators Network, and she is an executive board member of the Enright Melanoma Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise sun safety awareness and to help prevent melanoma through education and early detection.
