James Marsden

James Marsden is the manager of special projects in the Office of the President. Most recently, Marsden was executive officer (policy and governance) in the vice-chancellor's office at the University of Oxford, serving as the point of contact between the vice-chancellor and all parts of the university as well as external stakeholders. Previously, he was director of studies at Carfax College.

Marsden obtained a bachelor of arts in ancient and modern history from Corpus Christi College, Oxford, a master of studies in modern British and European history from Somerville College, Oxford, and a PhD in history from Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
