Preventive Priorities Survey 2021

To help focus U.S. conflict prevention and crisis preparedness efforts, the Council on Foreign Relation’s Center for Preventive Action conducts an annual survey of foreign policy experts to assess which potential contingencies in the coming year deserve more attention and resources than others. The results are released in the Preventive Priorities Survey, supported by Carnegie Corporation of New York, which ranks thirty plausible contingencies in order of their likelihood and potential impact.
