Nuclear Threat Initiative: Working to Reduce Nuclear Dangers with a Goal of Ultimately Ending Nuclear Weapons as a Threat to the World

Ten years after its founding by businessman Ted Turner and former Senator Sam Nunn, those involved with the work of the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI), including some former top U.S. officials, say they can look back on a decade's worth of effort and see real results from the organization's activities aimed at making the dangers of nuclear weapons and materials an issue of critical concern for nations around the globe.
