Brandeis Science Posse: Talented students bring diversity to the field

The Science Posse program at Brandeis University aims to increase the recruitment and retention of students from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines. A grant from Carnegie Corporation helped support the development of the program, which has brought 50 students from New York City high schools to Brandeis and is now to starting to expand into other institutions.
