Zarko Pervoic, Former Gardner Fellow, Wins Rhodes Scholarship

Zarko Pervoic, a 2012–2013 member of the John Gardner Fellowship Program, has been awarded a Rhode Scholarship for the fall of 2014. Founded by the former Carnegie Corporation president, the John Gardner Fellowship Program was established at the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University in 1985 to encourage the universities’ best students to enter public service. After completing his undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley in 2012, Perovic went on to serve as a project manager at the Auschwitz Institute for Peace and Reconciliation, where he is now working on an application to make reporting human rights violations easier. LEARN MORE
