None

Since modern podcasting emerged in 2004, the medium has boomed. By 2021, nearly 40 percent of Americans reported listening to a podcast in the previous month, and over 43 million total episodes had been released. Carnegie Corporation of New York and its grantees have been part of this growth, with the Corporation’s International Peace and Security program in recent years steering additional support toward podcasts that highlight important voices and topics on international peace and security.
