Uganda’s Archbishop appeals for support to educate girls from north

Twenty-seven-year-old Sophie Nalukwago is an orphan who graduated with a bachelor of Bio-technology from Makerere University, courtesy of the Female Scholarship Initiative (FSI). She is currently a laboratory technician with the Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC).

Ms. Nalukwago recently shared her story during a dinner hosted by Uganda’s Archbishop Luke Orombi to promote girl-child education in the country’s north, by appealing for scholarships for girls from Acholi, Lango, Karamoja, Teso and West Nile sub-regions.
