A Pew research poll shows broad public support for legal pathways to citizenship for undocumented immigrants in the United States.  Almost 72% of the public continue to say that undocumented immigrants living in the United States should be allowed to stay legally if certain requirementsare met, for example applying for citizenship or legal permanent residency.  Attitudes toward other aspects of immigration are more mixed, especially when it comes to immigrants’ economic impact on the United States.  The survey goes deeper into views on legal immigration, immigrants’ overall impact on the U.S., and border security. Learn more
