The Corporation’s Higher Education and Research in Africa (HERA) Diaspora Linkages Initiative grantees met in Nairobi, Kenya, March 22-24, 2018 to share practices, identify opportunities and gaps, and discuss future direction. Academic diaspora play a key role in developing the next generation of academics by facilitating the diffusion of knowledge, fostering intellectual exchange, expanding academic communities, and stimulating innovation in higher education.
