Europe's Big Challenges Discussed at the EPIIC Symposium

Every year, undergraduate students in the EPIIC program at Tufts University put on a Symposium to explore what Founding Director Sherman Teichman calls international "conundrum issues". This year's theme, Europe in Turmoil, could not have come at a more relevant time, and Symposium participants are discussing hot topics such as the refugee and migration crisis, economic and political integration, foreign policy challenges, and social tensions across different dividing lines. In this session on Transatlantic Power Dynamics and the Russian Question, engaged students line up to ask the panelists challenging questions, embodying the spirit of dynamic intellectual exchange that is a central part of the EPIIC program’s mission.
