Zack Cooper

Zack Cooper is an associate professor of public health and economics at Yale University where he also serves as director of health policy at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies. Focused on informing public policy, Dr. Cooper's research has explored issues such as the impact of competition on hospital and insurance markets and the influence of electoral politics on the growth in healthcare spending. He has published articles in leading economic and medical journals, and has presented his research at the White House, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Health and Human Services, among other government agencies.
