Paul Muldoon

One of the leading contemporary Irish poets, Paul Muldoon writes verse that is known for its multiplicity of meaning and its use of unconventional linguistic devices. Having lived in the U.S. since 1987, he is currently Howard G. B. Clark Professor at Princeton University, and is The New Yorker magazine's poetry editor. His many honors include the 1996 American Academy of Arts and Letters award in literature and the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for poetry. Among his recent collections are Moy Sand and Gravel, Horse Latitudes, and Maggot. Updated 2010
