Virginia Mallon-Ackermann is executive assistant in the Office of the President. Her responsibilities include database management, meeting planning, and the tracking and distribution of communications addressed to the president.
Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Mallon-Ackermann served as operations/office manager for the boutique investment banks Park Sutton Advisors and Cambridge International Partners; as a legal secretary at Schulte Roth & Zabel and Morrison & Foerster; as the executive assistant to the principal/founder of Arc Development; and as manager of administration at Ian Schrager’s Paramount Hotel.
Mallon-Ackerman earned a BA in fine art from Queens College of the City University of New York. A successful artist whose work has been shown in the U.S. and internationally, she is founding editor of the Fat Canary Journal as well as curator and participating artist in Artists for Social Justice 2020, a traveling art collaboration.
