Mary Kate Boughton is the Corporation’s director of digital engagement strategies. She has extensive experience increasing impact and guiding strategic growth via digital product, marketing, and engagement strategies at national and global nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining the Corporation, she was a consultant at Understood.org, working on digital analytics and insights. She previously led digital strategy at Phoenix House, a national addiction treatment organization, where she created the first product team. At the United States Tennis Association, she cultivated a data-informed and learning-focused culture, and developed global product strategy for the award-winning USOpen.org.
She also worked in Serbia for the German Marshall Fund of the United States, leading communications, monitoring and evaluation, and strategic development throughout southeastern Europe.
Boughton is a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, where she received a BA in history.
