Greta Essig is a program assistant for the Corporation’s Andrew Carnegie Fellows Program and Special Opportunities Fund. Ms. Essig manages grantee relations, supports and informs program strategy, and contributes to internal projects. Her work focuses on higher education, particularly on advancing research in the social sciences and humanities.
During her time at the Corporation, Ms. Essig earned a Master of Public Administration degree at New York University, where she focused on management and public policy. While at NYU, she worked as a consultant for the planning committee of the American Museum of LGBTQ+ History and Culture.
Ms. Essig holds a BA from Stony Brook University, where she studied German Linguistics and Fine Art.
