Gladys McQueen

Gladys McQueen began working at Carnegie Corporation of New York in 1987. Her work includes creating and maintaining the Corporation’s permanent archival retention schedule, historical dictionary, and oral history.

In addition to her other skills and responsibilities, McQueen proofreads the agenda book, uploads grant products into BoardEffect, and produces the trustee report — all vital to the Corporation’s quarterly board meetings. She is also the point person responsible for ordering books and magazines for the president, trustees, and senior staff, and she maintains the database of publications and journals.

McQueen holds a BA from Montclair State University, where she studied speech and theater with a concentration in acting.
