As managing director of investments at Carnegie Corporation of New York, Brooke Jones co-leads the Corporation's portfolio strategy for investments in public markets, which include long-only equities, absolute return, and fixed-income asset classes. As part of her role, Jones serves as the primary lead on emerging markets. She also manages the Corporation's venture capital, growth, and buyout investments in emerging markets.
Prior to joining the Corporation, Jones was a senior member of Stanford Management Company’s global equities team. Jones began her career at Development Alternatives, an economic development consulting firm where she focused on financial services consulting in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
Jones serves as a member of The New School’s investment committee and has served as a board member of the Wandering Scholar. Jones earned her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and earned a dual degree, a BS in economics from Wharton and a BA in international studies from the College of Arts and Sciences, at the University of Pennsylvania. Jones is also a Fulbright scholar.
Jones resides in Brooklyn with her husband and two adorable children who bring new meaning every day to being a long-term investor.
