Alexandra Cox is a program assistant on the New Designs to Advance Student Learning team. Most recently, Ms. Cox worked in education research at Child Trends, where she focused on school climate improvement and access to early childhood education. Ms. Cox’s interest in education is fueled by time spent in the classroom as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Madrid, Spain. During her year as a Fulbright grantee, she taught in a bilingual secondary school and created a peer-mentoring program for students. Ms. Cox graduated from Duke University, where she majored in political science and earned a certificate in child policy research.
