Grantseeker Quiz

1. Q: Is your organization based in the United States?

Yes: go on to the next question

No: The Corporation's charter limits grantmaking outside of the U.S. to countries that were members of the British Commonwealth in 1948. Please note that countries located on the Indian subcontinent are not eligible for funding per a 1935 amendment to the charter. The foundation rarely makes grants to foreign organizations in countries that were not members of the commonwealth and only when the advancement and diffusion of knowledge and understanding among the people of the United States is a major focus of the grant. If your organization qualifies under the Corporation's charter, then visit our international programs descriptions (International Development and International Peace and Security) and proceed to the next question.
