FCC Regulations Jeopardize Local Reporting, Say J-School Deans in
Times Op-Ed
Deans representing journalism schools supported by the Carnegie-Knight
Initiative on the Future of Journalism Education argue in a
recent New York Times op-ed that FCC regulations are eroding the
resources available for broadcast reporting. The deans call for
an increase commitment by media companies to local reporting in
return for more relaxed local ownership rules. Read
