Rikard Treiber
Associate Corporate Secretary and Director of Grants Management

As Associate Corporate Secretary, Rikard Treiber assists the Corporate Secretary in providing effective guidance to the trustees, president, and program staff regarding legal, regulatory and Corporation policies and procedures for grantmaking. He works directly with the Corporation’s attorneys on legal issues that affect the Corporation’s grants. As Director of Grants Management, he is responsible for all administrative aspects of the Corporation’s grantmaking process, from proposal to grant closeout.

Treiber joined the Corporation as Grants Manager in 2001. Prior to joining the Corporation, he was Deputy Director of Grants Management at The Commonwealth Fund. Treiber has also worked as Research Associate at the Foundation Center.

Treiber earned a B.A. at Wesleyan University and studied welfare state economics and policy at the University of Stockholm, Sweden. He earned an M.A. with High Honors in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an M.A. in American Studies at New York University, where he was a Henry Mitchell McCracken Fellow.
