Jeanne
D’Onofrio
Chief of Staff

Jeanne
D’Onofrio is chief of staff in the president’s office,
responsible for working with the president on all aspects of management,
strategic planning, and oversight. She also assists in developing
and implementing strategies for mission-based initiatives, grantee
relations, foundation policy, board governance and staff support.
D’Onofrio
earned her MPA from Columbia University’s School of International
and Public Affairs and a BBA from Baruch College, City University
of New York. D’Onofrio is currently a John C. Whitehead Fellow
of the Foreign Policy Association, and Historian of The Seraphic
Society.
Prior
to joining the Corporation, D’Onofrio served as executive
assistant to the president of the American Museum of Natural History
in New York. Before joining the not-for-profit sector, D’Onofrio
was senior underwriter for G. E. Capital Mortgage Insurance Company
in New York and Investors Mortgage Insurance Company in Boston.
In
1996, D’Onofrio gave a keynote address “Effective Management
and Leadership Skills to Affect Change” at the Institute for
International Research, Annual National Forum. Her volunteer activities
include overseeing The Seraphic Society Oral History Research Project.
