Daron  Acemoglu

Daron Acemoglu is the Elizabeth and James Killian Professor of Economics at MIT and co-author of Why Nations Fail: The Origins of Power, Prosperity, and Poverty. In 2005 he received the John Bates Clark Medal, awarded to an economist under 40 who has made the most important contribution to economics.
