As Vice President, HR, IT and Office Services, Ellen Bloom provides
strategic Human Resources leadership, technology support and office
management resources to support the Carnegie Corporation mission.
Bloom
has 23 years of human resources experience in the corporate world.
She spent the last 20 years with American Express where her most
recent position was Senior Vice President of Global Talent responsible
for Global Diversity, Learning Systems, Executive Development and
Retention, Staffing and Leadership Effectiveness. Prior to that
she worked in a number of global business units, at American Express,
as a senior generalist partnering with the business leaders to drive
high growth results. She began her career in human resources at
R.H. Macys with positions as Employment Manager and Labor Relations
Manager.
Bloom
has a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University
and a J.D. from New York Law School.
